This is a very good book written by Micheal Crichton and deals with global warming.

never heard of it.. it's way to hot to read

Growing up, i marveled at star-trek's science, and ignored the perfect society. Now, i try to ignore their science, and marvel at the society.

Imagine, being able to create matter out of thin air, and not coming up with using drones for boarding hostile ships. Or using drones to defend your own ship. Heck, using drones to block energy attacks, counterattack or for surveillance. Unless, of course, they are nano-machines in your blood, which is a billion times more complex..

Yes, I have read it ~ 6-7 months ago, I agree that it is entertaining, however, there are more interesting things within the book. Specifically, the manner of discource is interesting in how it connects to readers in the formation of boundary structures.
Looking at the book within the only flag I placed on it (partially quoted):

[...][I]gnores the plight of the poorest and most desperate human beings on our planet in order to keep [...] (503).

I read this book for a univ. course along with "The Rising" by Pollock & Seybold, which also aligns to Global Warming.
