A lot of environmental issues have been so popular specially "climate change" due to various calamities happening around the globe. And since it appeared to be a trend, more organizations and individuals are claiming that they are concern with the environment and are doing things that would help alleviate the current situation of Mother Earth.

I'm just curious, given what's happening around you, would you consider joining these groups and show the world how concern you are or do simple things to help? I know some colleagues who are very vocal about what their group/organization does to help save the ENV but when you check his/her lifestyle, it doesn't really prove what he/she is claiming. Sorry but it did affect my perception on the organization.

So my question as I used it on my title, should organizations check their applicants' lifestyles first before accepting them as members?

Most organizations, I suspect, would be more interested in facilitating those interested enough to check them out even once. One may always choose to modify ones own lifestyle, and limiting a membership base through beginner requisites takes opportunity away from organization and applicant alike.

What do you mean. Like Sierra club membership rejecting you if you don't have a beard and shower more than once ever three days?

The assumption that we must sacrifice quality of life to benefit the environment is mostly a scare tactic used by the fossil fuel industry to keep people addicted.
