Make sure the hand towel is made of biodegradable paper.

As for me, I just let the water evaporate off my hands – so I don’t even waste paper.

The paper took more energy to extract, manufacture, deliver, and dispose of, than the 20 seconds of heated air.

If your power comes from hydroelectric, even better.

use your pants, or better yet, wear overalls and use them. Fashion and cleanliness are not very ecological.

    e·col·o·gy (ĭ-kŏl'ə-jē) Pronunciation Key
    n. pl. e·col·o·gies

    1.
    1. The science of the relationships between organisms and their environments. Also called bionomics.
    2. The relationship between organisms and their environment.
    2. The branch of sociology that is concerned with studying the relationships between human groups and their physical and social environments. Also called human ecology.
    3. The study of the detrimental effects of modern civilization on the environment, with a view toward prevention or reversal through conservation. Also called human ecology.

this seems to be technically sound and lacking any activist jargon whatsoever, though I do sense a little harbored anti-activist resentment

I'd also vouch for wiping your hands on your pants. Actually just skip washing your hands all together. If you've contaminated yourself, its with your own germs. If you're sick, you're still sick. And if you're not, then whatever bugs are on you are something your body can handle anyway.

Just don't go touching people If nothing else you've reduced your footprint.

marcus - not sure if you're dense or dishonest.

The term was ECOLOGICAL not ecology. Ecology is the study - ecological as use dhere has NO scientific meaning. It's activist jargon.

    got it?

I get it. Ecology, as a noun is ok, but when it becomes an adjective, it drifts into hippy-land.

So Jorge1907, if I were to call you a jerkwad, I'd be safely utilizing scientific nomenclature, but accusing you of jerkwadery is tantamount to living in a redwood tree?
