hi everyone i wanted to get a clue about how to mount two small blades to either side of my robot using only one motor. My issue is that i don't have enough space for another motor as my length and height are occupied and i only have place in width. I was thinking of using a sprocket driven by motor, connecting another sprocket to it which would be driven in 90 degree angle to the first one and then attaching a rod to it which would drive two chains, one from upper portion of rod (above sprocket) and second from lower portion (below sprocket). These two chains will drive the sprocket on which blades would be mounted. This idea seems too crude to me. I should mention that i am using my motor in horizontal position because of the height issue.
