    ok, so we dont question it we just know it is there and thats that! If it has a direction on earth what sort of direction would it be pointing in. I have watched a few vids on the tube and it looks like the flux lines come out from the southern hemisphere in a funnel like way, around the world then back in toward the northern hemisphere but are the lines I see a really accurate impression or is there a machine that can see it (obviously if there was it would be in the hands of NASA or ISRO).

    That's magnetism, not voltage. You still can't separate the two concepts. Educate yourself!!!

    Would I be ok to call the shape of the earths EMfield sphere like and can I call it the earths magnet force field, sort of like emff
