Hi Guys!!! If there are any specialists ther who know about Nano Muscles and espacially Carbon Nanotube Fibers.

I know that you can use those Nanotube Fibers like a muscle, you need an electronic impulse to activate the fiber...

Actually I'm not a specialist but I'd like to know if a hobby worker could use nanotube fibers or is the connection of the Fibers too small so that only industrys can use them...

Also like I got informed the USA tries to use them as muscle extensions for soldiers. As a result humans could increase ther physical abilitys in horrible heights.

here are some links for more Information:

I recently looked at 'nanobots' for my son and could only find a few gears, somebody playing with a bed-bug and a working steam-engine
that could only be viewd through a microscope - All the other 'exotic' items seemed only to be conceptual illustrations. I think they will hit a wall when it comes to 1) providing a power source, 2) communicating with these and 3) some form of artificial intelligence, as far as I can tell a single transistor is larger than a nanogear (a word just made up by my son sitting next to me). I'll look at your links when I have a moment.

OK had a quick look at them, but the above link may give more info - I'm not sure you are likely to find experts (yet) as this is a new field, if anybody suggests they are an expert treat it with some sceptisism - remember an 'ex' is a has-been and a 'spurt' is a drip under pressure (TIC).
