# Thread: 3 questions regarding circuit analysis

1. QUESTION-1
Are the concepts of supernode and supermesh valid on dependent sources as well?
If we have a dependent voltage source between two nodes and none of the two nodes is ground then will we consider that dependent source as supernode while applying KCL?
Similarly if we have a dependent current source and one of our mesh is opposing its direction do we have to use a supermesh?

QUESTION-2
How to apply KCL on this ground node?
Here is the circuit

Is this KCL equation correct for ground node?
i(15ohm) + i(10ohm) = i(5ohm)

QUESTION-3
How to solve this small circuit?
Find "V" and the "current through 3000ohm resistance" in this circuit.

3. This looks a lot like homework, MrScience. Is that what it is?

4. Its not homework.Im having much more complex circuits in my homework,im asking because im having confusion regarding these concepts.Once i make these things clear i will be able to solve the bigger circuits.
