    Superposition theorem Can't be used in power calculation of electrical circuit.Why is it?[/b]

    Simply because super position theorem supposes that:

    f(a+b)=f(a)+f(b)

    Where f is an function and a , b are two variables(In this case two currents).

    And according to mathematics the supposition don above is true only if the function "f" is linear or of first degree.

    And as you might know power=V*I=I^2/R

    So Power is the second degree function of current and is thus non-linear So ,SuperPosition theorem cannot be used to analyze power in circuits.
