Late for what? I was in college from 17 to 24, took another dozen or so classes + military education through my 30s than back to college in my 50s. I still take several classes a year, though now their related to my Fire Fighting or EMS volunteer times. Until you start significant cognitive decline which for most is their late 60s or later-- it's not too late to learn.

Age is just a number, So what if you are 28 years old? It doesn't matter what degree you have in this age, If you got skills to do something. You can even Peruse your post graduation after 30. There is no restriction to that.
