Did Kepler give mathematical proofs of his three laws. Is there more material available that precedes Kepler and consists of proofs of his laws?

You've apparently missed one or two lessons somewhere.
    1) Kepler's laws are a mathematical description of observed reality.
    2) You don't "mathematically prove" reality.

Is there more material available that precedes Kepler
Kepler found his laws by analysing the astronomical observations of Tycho Brahe.

and consists of proofs of his laws?
You do not, and cannot, "prove" physical laws.

The proofs were given by Newton I believe as part of his justification for this law of universal gravity and his laws of motion. Kepler proposed his laws from the pain staking data analysis of Brahe and some really deep insights about calculus before it was all solidified by Newton and Leibniz. Kepler and the First Law of Planetary Motion has some of the facts if you are interested.
As is often the case with technical subjects we are presented with an unfortunate choice: an explanation that is accurate but incomprehensible, or comprehensible but wrong.

    One word.
But if it MUST be split then it's pains-taking.

Kepler's three laws were empirical results, results derived from fitting theories to observations.

Newton's laws of motion and his inverse-square law of gravity are theories that explain those results.
