    In the US.

For the most comprehensive list check the Department of Education web site.

U.S. Department of Education Database of Accredited Postsecondary Institutions and Programs

Then check out the specific school for legal actions against them that puts that accreditation in question. Also check whether they have a brick and mortar side or are directly associated with a large University or State backed system.

Would you possibly explain only literally what my question means?

Perhaps you'd do better on an English learning web site.

Accredited just means it's accepted and recognized as being distinguished (NOT fake or sub par) by the people in charge of grading that type of thing.
so if you have any credits or grades from a school it needs to be from an accredited school/institution.

    Basic quality management.

It's to assure students and faculty that the institution is able to provide competent instruction.

A certificate or something written from a place like a degree from college as an example.

Provided= to give or to be given
credentials = written proof of skill by someone noted in that skill.

credentials are proof of whatever skill that you claim have. So, for example, if you were trying to get a nursing job you would offer your RN (Registered Nurse) certificate to the person doing the hiring, thereby providing the person in charge of hiring a copy of your credentials.

So it simply means, showing proof of whatever legal documents are asked for
