To whomever it may concern,
I want to apologize ahead of time if this is not the correct area to post this. If there is a different area, please tell me and I will delete this post and move it there.
I am currently setting up a research proposal about worm locomotion in various gravitas. I am an undergraduate in Biological Sciences (Quantitative Biology is my concentration) if that gives you an idea about me. I am having a hard time finding out what instruments can be helpful that will relate to studying worm locomotion. If anyone could help me out on this, that would be great.
this is more of a quantitative biology research proposal. My goal is to find the relationship of the different movements of annelids (specifically earthworms). I would need the following instruments that are relatable to my research
Movement detector (Tells me when the worm worm moves. this can be in different time intervals, but seconds is preferred.)
Worm container (I need some ideas of good containers that I can use that will allow me to see the worm move around while doing the experiment.
Any suggestions on the best worms I can study? Please keep in mind that worms should be less than 8 inches and should be from the USA.
More questions to come!
