My question is with respect to the Hadley Cell and the inter-tropical convergence zone (ITCZ) formed in the Earth's atmosphere.
The equator receives the most amount of solar radiation and therefore creates a low pressure zone here which leads to convection and this Hadley Cell. In this area clouds are formed and the ITCZ is created.

My question is why is it that when the ITCZ is formed (and resultantly when the clouds are formed) is it that these clouds do not shade the equator so it doesn't receive as much incoming solar radiation and therefore cause the Hadley Cell to breakdown upon formation?

Thanks and sorry if my question was a little vague.

In addition to solar forcing it's being driven by the converging circulations from the Hadley cells at higher latitudes, as well as the enormous amounts of latent heat being released in those thunderstorms.
