Thread: Geo jobs advice

Hello all

I'm a geography lecturer in my 30s but looking for a new challenge and am considering a move into geology. I've got a doctorate in surficial ('drift') geology so have an understanding of sedimentology, stratigraphy and facies. Any advice on which jobs in geo I could go for (bearing in mind that my maths is very rusty, although willing to learn)?

I think the soil science or Quaternary geology fits well to your major.
