    Birth of earth

I have new theory regarding birth of earth. Pls see below point wise.

    1. Earth has biological growth like a tree and meteoroids are seeds of planets.
    2. only some meteoroids can germinate in asteroids and some asteroids can convert in big planets only
    3. Earth has bark like a tree and this bark is separated from each other. Continents is a bark of earth.
    4. Earth is a result of one meteor only. It is germinated from single meteor.
    5. Earth has all minerals same required by living thing.
    6. Different different pockets of minerals shows that it has biological thing only. No other theory applicable of earth formation if it has different different pockets of minerals
    7. Meteors contain amino acid shows that they may be seeds. Because seeds always contains amino acid.
    8. Resin erupting from log indicates toward volcano.
    9. Some knots or uplift on log of tree indicates toward mountains.
    10. Log of tree contains core and crust.
    11. Black lines indicate toward plate tectonic.
    12. this is complete mechanism of planet formation
I have lot of another visuals logics proving my theory correct.pls see if these points attract you.

The links on this "new theory" post are dead, and how could I forget the bark of Earth and erupting resin? This same post recurs like, annually.

jsispat, you have been posting this garbage on at least one other forum for over a year. In that time you have shown the intellectual capacity of an anorexic gastropod and the attentiveness of a 1.4 kg mass of vermiculite.

Your 'theory' is the purest nonsense, devoid of logic or meaning and lacking even passable entertainment value.

What will it take for you to shut up?

Sure. It says the same, but with non of the poetic acidity of Ophiolite's effort. He should dominate the Quotations thread.

    why is it still here?

has something changed regarding science vs non-science (pronounced nonsense) threads in Earth Sciences?

OK - I'll keep that in mind ...

besides finding the concept fundamentally flawed, this is irrelevant.

no it isn't - i only accepted the janitor's job because people whose opinion i value nominated me

maybe so, but this is not the place to discuss it* -
your personal concerns are irrelevant to the thread,
    and derailing it helps nobody.

    *if you wish to pursue this with me personally, then PM;
otherwise, take it to the staff area first -

I agree. Since the opening post is a train wreck I don't see how anyone can derail it.

not at all - I consider the OP to be non-science (or just nonsense) ...

I questioned its continued residency in Earth Sciences, simply because someone went to the trouble of making sure that there are other (more suitable) areas for such posted ideas,
and because I thought (perhaps wrongly?) that the disciplines within Earth Sciences should be considered real scientific disciplines in a science forum,
which I thought (perhaps wrongly?) wanted to present its public image as one which promotes, discusses, and disseminates real science,
and that part of doing this includes identifying non-science (myths, etc) by directing same to its appropriate place within the broader forum ...

I've been disavowed of that view by the moderator, which I've immediately acknowledged ...
and that settles the question of the OP's (and thread's) relevance to its continued placement in Earth Sciences -

which leaves only the relevance of posts replying to the OP, or points relevant to the OP raised in those replies - standard netiquette ...

so, back to the train wreck, perhaps?

As I understand it a Moderator has the right to decide whether a particular post stays within the sub forum.
You have allowed this post to remain here! The fact you are not overly concerned about remaining a moderator is not relevant, and does not mean that a Forum member has no right to ask for an explanation nor does it mean that any Forum member, who questions your decision, wants to remove you, from the post, in order to take your position.

i quite agree that anyone is allowed to question my decisions - if i feel that there is a need to address said questions i will do so, and should anyone feel that this response is somehow inadequate, you are free to discuss the matter with the admins

anyhow, that was not the reason for my opinion about my modship
from my position and contributions in 2 other forums with more lax standards of engagement, i feel that maybe my standards of what goes in TSF are no longer what might be expected of me

as i've said elsewhere in a different forum : despite appearances, i DO have a life outside the web, and i know which is the more important when a choice needs to be made

I have listened. Your theory is foolish. It relies upon trivial analogies. It has no real supporting evidence. It is illogical.

You ask that we 'see it very deeply'. Unfortunately that is not possible for the theory is very shallow.
Will you tell me why you are so attached to this theory when there is nothing to support it? Since there is nothing to support it your own background becomes relevant. May I ask what level of education have you reached and approximately what age are you?
