    All except one of the following scenarios represent examples of positive feedback in the context of climate change. Identify the one scenario which is not an example of positive feedback.

    An increase in the GMST leads to an increase in the water vapour content of the atmosphere which leads to an increase in the GMST.

    An increase in the Earth's albedo (due to greater snow and ice cover) causes a decrease in the GMST which leads to an increase in the Earth's albedo (due to greater snow and ice cover)

    A decrease in the GMST leads to a decrease in cloud cover which causes an increase in the GMST.

    A decrease in the GMST leads to a decrease in the carbon dioxide content of the atmosphere which leads to a decrease in the GMST.

    An increase in the water vapour content of the atmosphere leads to an increase in the GMST which leads to an increase in the water vapour content of the atmosphere.
