    Do fingerprints have sebum?

    Yes and No.
    Since palms and feet sole do not have sebaceous glands, it is unlikely that sebum will be produced on the palm or feet. However if one touches other parts of his or someone else’s body, sebum may be transferred from the skin to his hands and thus find its way to the fingerprints. It is to be noted that the scientists have developed methods to identify users of marijuana, cocaine, cannabis, tobacco and other drugs from fingerprint residues.
