People often don't think about the ecnomic impact of violence in the U.S.
However, a less violent crime rate can generate not only peaceful society but also financial benefit.
According to the 2012 U.S. Peace Index released by the Institute for Economics and Peace, the average cost of violence is $3,257 per each U.S. taxpayer.
