Thread: Jobs?

Hey guys, im currently at sixth form doing a levels and thinking about taking an 'criminology and forensic science' course, I was wondering will it be worth it? Has anyone here studied similar things or know anyone? How long will it take for me to have a very successful job, What's the Pay like, is there long hours? etc. Thanks

I'm majoring in biology and in my classes, I have met a lot of people who are majoring in either biology or chemistry who are planning on becoming criminologists/forensic scientists. Later on, when they get to graduate school, they will be focusing on forensic science.

What is your major and are you at an undergraduate or graduate level? If you are not already majoring in science, you will need to switch over to either bio or chem because you will need a strong background in science and mathematics. There are jobs available to undergrads, but they are few and far between and because forensics have been made popular due to television shows, you will have a lot of competition. I think you would have a better chance at obtaining a job in a crime lab if you possessed a master's degree.

Find out early if you can stand being around corpses, some cannot.

The country is still booming in this field,i see a lot of growth and opportunities in this field. There a loads of jobs in India and Abroad just Google it
