I have an idea. Couldnít find it on Google but something tells me itís not original and it is somewhere. I never seem to be the first to have a first thought for anything. Oh, if my idea makes somebody (b)(m)illionaires then please donít forget who gave you the idea.

I think itís time for someone to give Google a run for the money. So how many times to you access Google for information? If youíre like me itís all the time and to be frank, I donít usually go past page 1, page 2 at the most. Means thereís countless pages you would never even consider unless itís porn.

My idea is for a facts only website. Most current, peer reviewed papers, news and information. No more 88 useless pages on Tsetse flies or bogus videos and amateur opinions. Strictly pro. Is it already here or possible?

    Google scholar...

    https://scholar.google.com/

    For professional purposes I used

    https://wok.mimas.ac.uk/

But for full access you need to register through your academic institution.

For the past couple months it has seemed to me that there has been a growing mentality that Google is becoming too big and are collecting too much data, and that we should start thinking about the implications of giving Google so much of our data.

That was bearable when they gave valid results in the search. You look for "HBs laptop" and it's all mainstream and sanitized for page after page. Nothing juicy like you'd have got a year or two ago. Which means nothing can be relied upon. Google is now the Wikipedia of search.

Googles too big for what, can you qaulify

if you think they have too much data don't give it them or any other site for that matter. Just fill in false data about yourself on social media etc.

Not sure how much I can trust this trust survey since I’m using Google Search. Yet even it is influence by Google they stop short of saying they’re 100% trustworthy. Many pie charts and is shorter than appears, a lot of post-read commentary included.
