hello all, I have a problem with 99% loading freeze on a facebook browser game.

    The game is war commander.

There are many people with the same problem.

However, like many, I can play the game from my friends house on his computer, I have played on a friends laptop from my house on my I.P, but my comp and another comp in the house no longer plays it, it freezes at 99%.

This is ongoing now for 3-4 weeks, and the makers of the game seem to be lost for answers on there forum.

    This came after an update.

It is not an os problem or hardware, or flashplayer, there are many players with this problem , on various machines from 8 core to 32 bit os.

I have tried most browsers as with every 1 else.

    Ran spy bot e.t.c.

    Cleaned temps and caches.

The error using chrome console shows a get script, that it is not getting.

This is the only error i can see, but it must be the error that is causing this.

This is the get , that is failing, and if i open in new tab the message i get.

    for (;; {"t":"msg","seq":98,"ms":[{"overlay":{"100003262579383":{"a":0,"ol":-1,"s":"push"}},"type":"buddylist_overlay"},{"user_ id":100003262579383,"listeners":[{"app_id":350685531728,"session_id":-3348285682711708846,"ip_address":"10.178.197.69"," port":9201,"app_foreground":false,"device_foregrou nd":false,"last_active_time_ms":1388998129000}],"source":"buddylist_overlay","type":"mqtt_listene r_info"}]}

I can not understand the language. Can anyone see a problem , or as anyone got any ideas on this? Please help

I can use the console and can upload more, scripts if needed.

First off, I’ve no idea about the script! Just some ideas you might consider if not already...

If the flash game works fine on your mate’s laptop (within your house, sharing your router), but the game doesn’t work on your own two PC’s, then you could check if your mate actually has an older flash version installed? It could be a glitch with the latest flash player that you may have? Unlikely cause, but worth a look.

I’ve experienced flash apps that refuse to load with Internet Explorer 10, but work fine with 9 (when I roll back on the same PC) or with Firefox. You could check which Browser, and importantly, what version your mate is using, then try and install the exact version on your PC.

If that’s not the issue, as a workaround, I might consider temporarily creating a new admin account, with default Window settings. Log into it, then see if the issue still reproduces.

I encountered the same problem and resolved it by uninstalling FlashPlayer and reinstalling it again and then deleting my internet cache.
I did those 2 things and it fixed the problem - but I don't know which one was the actual solution.

Thx guys , I have tried a new account, I have tried flash players, have asked people on the game forum to check their flash player versions etc, people have tried everything.

The problem is a script that is been cancelled by time out i presume, the get file is not getting.

I have looked through the jqueries, and highlighted in orange it says about cross-origin sharing error.

I presume that the people who are froze including myself are missing a security update or something that allows this.

Most players are still playing happily, with 100s who can not.

Does any 1 know anything about cross origin sharing, is there a setting i my browser or windows where i can alter this?

or is this on the game server side?

@Redpanda you should write a program to automatically delete the cache contents on startup. Make sure to remember flash players cache updating would automatically clear it and any music/video players you have using caching for images etc.

Firefox (my chosen browser) already has that option - but I have set it to only delete certain types of files.
And I am not sure it actually resolved the problem, it was just something I did as a general "fix my internet" solution - much like "turn it off and then on again" is a general way to "fix my PC".
Come to think of it, I also deleted all the temp files that software makes.

I was merely describing the things I did which fixed the problem - I don't know which of those things fixed the problem.

Well sure you can set firefox to do that or you can copy the files to keep from the cache to a more permanent location on shutdown and have a clear cache.

hi guys I am pretty sure about 99% sure the error been caused is by a cross domain.

Blocked a frame with origin "https://wc-fb-vip.sjc.kixeye.com" from accessing a frame with origin "https://apps.facebook.com". The frame being accessed set "document.domain" to "facebook.com", but the frame requesting access did not. Both must set "document.domain" to the same value to allow access.

does any one know how to change cross domains in windows or browser or where ever?

    where would i start?
