    Say for instance I wanted to create my own email service using my own post office protocol and not somebody elses or the standard does anybody know where i might find the documentation??

    I assume you mean, creating your own imnplmentation of the post office protocol?

    That was very interesting and im pretty sure i could make my own implementation now I found alot of documents on the web that really told very little about how the system actually worked
