Google Clever Bot. You will find an interesting robot to talk to. Ask it stuff.

Cleverbot is an AI that learn from us common people by analyzing our answers as we go along. They have included a percentage of how human Cleverbot is at any time.

With that said: When Cleverbot first became public, it was somewhere over 80% human. Now it's 59%.
    We're dumbing an AI down.

CleverBot should at least have a persistent motive, because it still sound incoherent at some times, and can get derailed by your question. The only time I *felt* it was human is when she said she was tired, don't want to say anything, and continuously avoiding question like 16 years old angst teenager, else I felt like the bot has no ability to answer any question. It might not able to understand question IMO.

Maybe Lilleskotte is a rival web-crawling 'bot that looks for references to CleverBot and posts an automatically generated put down.

That seems to be a common problem with these sort of AI programs (and chess playing programs) - they have no "strategy".

I've noticed CleverBot doesn't even have a memory. If you tell it something early into a conversation, and then ask it about what you told them - it will avoid answering (or may even just deny you ever even asked the question).

Apparently it doesn't form it's own "thoughts", it uses previous conversations from a variety of people as a 'cheat sheet'.
