    I want to get a netbook and they both seem good but which is better?
    Dell is only good if you buy their upper line models, their inspirons suck(my friend owns one) they aren't built very good, the hardware is good, its the design/build quality the touchpad sucks. So I am a little worried. Degee is a new brand and it seems cheaper. I contacted the online help and were informed that the after-sale service is guaranteed. Personally, I am looking for 10.2'' Intel Atom D425 but I need more feedback before making a decision.

    Hi!

    I personally would opt for one to have an AMD processor. Most recentely, AMD is offering netbook processors too.

    Hi housefans, I see your personal favourite is Intel, this is a perfect choice when it comes to laptops and netbooks (This is my personal oppinion).

    When it comes to Intel, degee is quite recent (and with that, quite unstable at the moment..) maybe it's better if you look for another "cheap" netbook that's quite descent.

    In that category i propose an ASUS 1001P-MU17, it's only 60-70$ more and gives you some decent material to work with until a few degee reviews show up.

    Specs of ASUS 1001P-MU17:

    * 1.66GHz Intel N450 Atom Processor (512KB L2 Cache)
    * 1 GB DDR2 SODIMM memory, Max Capacity upto 2 GB
    * 10.1" WSVGA (1024x600) WideScreen matte LCD w/ LED-backlit
    * Integrated Graphics Controller
    * 160 GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive

    Processor, Memory, and Motherboard

    * Hardware Platform: PC
    * Processor: 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N450
    * System Bus Speed: 667
    * Number of Processors: 1
    * RAM: 1 GB
    * RAM Type: SODIMM

    Hard Drive

    * Size: 160 GB
    * Manufacturer: Portable
    * Type: Serial ATA

    Cases and Expandability

    * Size (LWH): 10.31 inches, 7.01 inches, 1.44 inches
    * Weight: 2.8 pounds

    Power

    * Rated Charge (normal use): 11 hours

    Specs found at: http://www.amazon.com/Asus-1001P-MU1.../ref=de_a_smtd

    Recap:
    As you can see, this pc is ideal for let's say, schoolwork, or notitions during a conference... everything a netbook needs to be

    Hope this was helpfull,
