I am conducting a research about password authentication on Open University in the UK. I have set up an online survey and I am looking for people who could possibly participate.
This is not a scam and I have a daytime job. ( http://www.linkedin.com/profile/view?id=8912806 )
The purpose of the survey is to research the various habits and attitudes people have towards password authentication, which will hopefully provide valuable material for my dissertation in the wider context of computer security and usability studies.
The study consists of a few simple steps:
1. Please go to my website http://crocodile.homelinux.com and register for an account by clicking on the 'Register' link.
2. Once you have registered for an account you will be able to login to the website where you are presented with a survey form to fill in. This might take you 5 minutes and then you are done.
3. I will also like to ask you to attempt logging in 2 weeks time and again in another 2 weeks time. This should take you a few seconds each time. You don't need to do anything else on these occasions just login.
4. If possible, I would like to conduct a phone interview with a small subset of people participating in the survey.
Many thanks if you choose to participate, I really need a strong survey with a reasonable sample of people participating. :-)
