You should only need framework and then a browser (Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc)
I have a browser but what is mean a framework?Originally Posted by Thorium
What is your problem then?
I have internet explore and the drive for it but for some reasons the computer cannot detect the router or any network at all.
Check My local connections and check your Network card, where you insert the cable. You need the framework, without it you cannot access to the internet. Explain yourself better please!
My home has 3 computer total (1 desktop and 2 laptop). the desktop and one of the laptop can go to the internet but this laptop that I just reinstall the window vista can't go to internet.
could you tell me step by step how to check if my framework working properly and if not, how I am going to download it.
Well one thing you did wrong was installing Windows Vista. You should Install Windows 7 or xp on it - Vista is just so bad. I had Vista, and I had many problems with connecting my laptop to the internet.
Well since you have 3 computers, that can access the internet, download framework from there and then install it.

And check the motherboard and other Laptop drivers too - if you forgot to install the drivers then this could also cause the problem.
I dont know anymore how to help, but ill try.
Oh, so this is the framewark you are talking about... It's not relevant to internet connection at all!Originally Posted by Thorium

Wait!
You can access the internet without framework?
And now youre telling me that.
I have no idea what you are trying to say.Originally Posted by Thorium
Actually most issues there existed with Vista are gone. Many experts agree Vista and 7 are the same machine at this moment. That might change later on when Vista isn't supported I suppose.Originally Posted by Thorium
