    Hi guys,

I need a double check on something. (to make sure I hav understood it correctly)

A subnet mask of: 255.255.255.192 means 26 bits are network bits. Therefore the maximum hosts allowed on this subnet would be 61. (63 possible host addresses, but taking into account the broadcast domain and network address)

    AND.............

If we had the ddress of 172.10.144.216\26

Then the host address for this in binary would be 00011000.

The hand of time rested on the half-hour mark, and all along that old front line of the English there came a whistling and a crying. The men of the first wave climbed up the parapets, in tumult, darkness, and the presence of death, and having done with all pleasant things, advanced across No Man's Land to begin the Battle of the Somme. - Poet John Masefield.
