    Hello everyone,

I'm planning to do grad studies (masters) in Chemical Engineering in Canada. I received admission offers from the following schools:

    McGill University
    University of Toronto
    University of Alberta
    University of Waterloo

which one would you recommend? what are the strengths/weaknesses of each one?

    Any comment/information is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance ...

    Hi anonzil,

I think ultimately it depends on how each university performs for the course that you want to do, as well as going to a well recognised uni, you want to go to the one that will offer you the best start in that field of study

cool i'm going to do a masters in chem eng at imperial college london/

how i decided was like markk said i evaluated how each university performed in this course.
when i had a shortlist of choices i went to visit each one. this may be harder to do in canada i'm not sure.
consider that you will be living at this place for 4 years probably. maybe 3 if you have a sandwich course. so although the performance of the uni is a major aspect you also need to think if you will enjoy living there.
    everything is mathematical.

I go to McGill, so I'm biased towards that one, but it's more of a biomedical research school.

I think UoT would be better for chemical engineering department.

Although, the idea of living in Toronto disgusts me
