    Quick question:
Methanol and Nitromethane form an azeotrope together, and thus come over at the same boiling point. If the boiling point during distillation spikes to near 100C (the bp: Nitro), does this mean that -pure- nitromethane is coming over?

If I have an unknown amount of nitro in the methanol, is there any way to find out the separate measurements of the two? I.E. How much nitromethane and methanol were put in before they were mixed together?

Thanks in advance for any help.
