    What's the reaction of Sodium metabisulphite with 1)Hydrogen peroxide 2)Sodium hypochlorite? I want to know the quantity of metabisulphite could be used to neutralise peroxide and hypochlorite.

    1) Na<sub>2</sub>S<sub>2</sub>O<sub>5</sub> + H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub> --> 2NaHSO<sub>4</sub> + H<sub>2</sub>O

    2) Na<sub>2</sub>S<sub>2</sub>O<sub>5</sub> +2NaClO + H<sub>2</sub>O --> 2NaHSO<sub>4</sub> + 2NaCl
