    hellow everyone and a good day to you.

    today we had an experiment. i was wandering what is the product of these two chemicals, copper (II) sulfate & steel wool.

    if they have a reaction to create gases, can you tell me what gas it is?

    The copper and the iron in the steel wool swap places, so you end up with iron sulphate and copper in the steel wool...

    Yeah, I remember seeing the formula for this somewhere recently. I forget what it looks like, but it is pretty basic.
