Thread: Help on science SRP

hey guys im just doing my year 10 science research program and im doing what colours are produced when burning salts. Ive looked around the web quite a bit and i havn't come across anything that is really detailed. I just need a little help if that minds?

MY questions are :
1. Describe the aim:
2. Define the Hypothesis:
3. Identify the: a) independent variable
b) Dependent Variable
c) any controlled variables that need to be kept the same.
4. Outline the : a) observations that you need to make and how this will be done
5. Measurements that you need to make and how this will be done.
6. equipment that you will need to use
7. clarify your experiment procedure by showing all steps that will need to be followed.

Barium- green
Potassium- violet
Sodium- orange
Lead- whitish
Antimony- white
Iron- whitish-orange
Aluminum, Magnesium, Titanium (finely divided)- bright white flash
