There is a new research on Sodium-organic battery.
Aromatic porous-honeycomb electrodes for a sodium-organic energy storage device | ReadCube Articles
If specific energy density of an electrode (as claimed) is 500 Wh/kg then what would
be energy density in fully assembled state?Something close to 50 Wh/kg?
If so,(and their other claims are true) such as power density 10.000 W/kg and
more then 7.000 cycles capability then it could be an interesting alternative
to Lead-acid or even NiMH battery. And perhaps a cheaper one.
