Okay, so in science class we are going to do this lab on Observing Change. The reactions we are going to work with sounded interesting so I decided to try and figure the equations out. This is what I got.
CuSO45H2O + Fe --> FeSO4 + Cu + 5H2O
I had read in one of my chemistry books that this is what happens typically with copper sulphate when it reacts with another metal.
CuSO45H2O + Na2CO3 --> CO2 + Na2SO4 + CuO + 2O2 + 5H2O
This one I found the trickiest. I went for what seemed the obvious and most possible outcome.
2HCl + Mg (is that how magnesium is?) --> MgCl2 + H2
This one I have done before. But not with magnesium. So I wnated to check if it was the same.
That's it.
