    Hi,
I am analyzing a paper and got confused on the HNMR results. Basically, the results shows a spectra of fatty acids from two groups, one treated with a drug, the other with saline. The chemical shifts were identical for the FAs in question for both treated and untreated groups but the size of the peaks were different.

The drug treated peaks were bigger and the paper said that they had "lower resonance" than the saline treated peaks which were almost flat and said to have "higher resonance" I just don't get it, I thought bigger peak have higher resonance? please help!
