Is it possible in theory to discover some catalyst which is able to breakdown nitrogen
molecules without enegy spend? In the similar way as Platinum breaks down hydrogen
    atoms without additional energy required?
As I know Nitrogen-based fertilizers are requiered because Nitrogen fixation from air
is to energy consuming. At least with presently existing biological catalysts.
