I dk if ths belongs in earth science, but its chem related so im gonna hope i get away with it. This is probably a stupid question, but i know one of the biggest pollution concerns today is the amount of co2 produced by cars. The thing is that plants, trees, etc feed off co2. I dont understand why there isnt some sort of huge growth in plant life near societies because of this.

CO2 is definitely not the real problem... it's more CO since plants don't eat that. With the mass amounts of CO2 we do make that just makes for a higher amount of plants to be needed to eat it all at the same rate as we produce it. So plants are going to start growing a lot more and maybe take over the world!!

:? CO2 is a real problem.. also for plants... smog keeps away sunlight and CO2 makes the world warm up so there is less water for the plants to feed on..

and the plants may grow better due to CO2, but they die as much because of acid rain or soil pollution..

Imagine, being able to create matter out of thin air, and not coming up with using drones for boarding hostile ships. Or using drones to defend your own ship. Heck, using drones to block energy attacks, counterattack or for surveillance. Unless, of course, they are nano-machines in your blood, which is a billion times more complex..

CO2 is no problem, there is mountains of methane-ice close to the southpool, if that were to bubble up it would be atleast 5-10 times worse than what we humans ahve done. its not a problem.

    hmm..

I used to gass mice with this "harmless" gas. Plus, if it is not a problem, why do they predict the CO2 to warm up the planet by 1°C for every 20 years.

And if the earth warms up because of the CO2... ur little mountain will vaporise and be cathastrophic. It might even ignite due to refraction of light :?

i like O2 better, and Organic carbon. Leave it in the ground.. PLEASE!!!

i'm not saying that CO2 is the worst problem we have. But we can't denie is isn't a problem.

maybe an idea for a poll..
