People @ my local sauna pour tap-water over the rocks to supposedly raise the temperature. Because all those chemicals get vaporized and everyone that sitting there is inhaling them, should there be any health concerns? what could this potentially do to the body? here are some chemicals found it tap-water: chlorine, lindane, atrazine, alachlor, aluminum sulphate, fluorosilicic acid, calcium hydroxide, benzene, and sodium silicofluoride.

In my opinion, it wont harm anyone's health if they dont sit in the sauna room for too long but it does destroy every cell under your skin by heat if you think staying long in sauna is good for your health ^^.

My recommendation is: sauna is quite good and it can help you to improve your health significantly but everything has its own limit. Therefore, stop and get out of the sauna room as soon as you feel so hot and you couldnt stand it anymore

Hope my answer can help you.
    Best Regards,
    Danny

I was just curious about the concentrations. I don't have an answer for your original question.
