    I'm guessing you mean "what functional groups do RNA and proteins have?" Look up what RNA and proteins are made of and post it and we'll go from there. You'll learn more this way.

    It's an incredibly complicated question to answer if you consider post-translational modification as well.

    Ah, ok. I've been away the past week and am not in the bio forum much anyway (despite the fact that I'm a bio major...) Looks like it's being attended to there but I'll leave this open anyway, can't hurt.
