graphite - a form of carbon - displays superlubricity - does the carbon that builds up and changes the colour of my engine oil display any similar characteristics?

    -----------------

related article I found researching which is positive but still not conclusive as I doubt the form of carbon that my engine produces is the same:

No, it is amorphous carbon due to partial combustion and /or decomposition of the oil and fuel.Actually in the right particle size it can be quite abrasive.
