    Hello Im studying for a quiz and I have a practise problem and I have a problem

    Calculate the wavelength in nanometers of the spectral line in the visible specttrum of hydrogen for which n(1)=2 and n(2)=3

    1/ /\ = 109678(1/4-1/9)
    1/ /\ = 109678 (.13888)
    1/ /\ = 15233
    /\= 1/ 15233
    /\=6.565 E-5 cm

    Ok thats as far as I got but I cant convert it to match the nano meters they gave as an answer

    the answer is 656.5 nm
