    I am wondering, my friend wanted to know about some of the most Heat Resistant Materials (Refractive) for a Space Drop Pod..

    I have a few materials in mind, but some other light Refractive composites would be nice.

    Tungsten melts at 3422C
    Carbon Melts at 3652C
    Boron melts at 2076C
    Tungsten Carbide 2870 C

    cadmium is about the highest I can think of that u dont have already up there

    Cadmium melts at a low temperature.

    Only at 321C
