Achole is very volatile, so is ammonia solution. But some solution are not, such as diet oil.... But does anyone know what's the key reason that'll determine whether a solution will be volatile or not....?

Vapour pressure. Liquids such as acetone, petrol etc have high vapour pressures than liquids such as oils, which have very low vapour pressures.
A substance with a high vapour pressure will tend to evaporate more quickly. Technically ammonia solution is a different kind of equilibrium though, vapour pressures generally concern pure compounds.
then, what's so special with ammonia? give some detail?
