Birds are magnetically sensitive. So the towers might be noisy.

Noisy does not necessarily equal harmful. Does the noise of your computer fan harm you?

Why don't birds sit on mobile phone towers

Where is your evidence?? Did you set up a study counting the number and species of birds on mobile towers with birds sitting (or not) on other artifical structures (street lamps, electrical power lines, TV transmitters) in the same area? Or can you point me to an according study accessible on the internet? If so, was the difference statistically significant? Were other factors influencing the number of birds on said structures excluded (noise from a 4-lane highway, climatic diffferences etc.)? Was this study done in different ares to exclude local differences in the preferences of bird species for their resting places?
I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by

Who went and stuck a serious science experiment up your arse?

It was only meant as a off hand question!

There could also be other factors like how open the tower is, birds may prefer to land in places like a leafy tree so they are not easily visible. Also, since it is metalic it may also just be cold and uncomfortable to land on.

The bug and berry crop on towers is sparse too.

An easy study: Count birds with tower on, then off. This is similar to what we did for people, including those claiming sensitivity to RF. Just switch the thing on/off without telling subjects or even the examiners.

i think they sit on those lines less, because of the fact that those cell phone towers are mainly vertical, and power lines horizontal, they just have a lot more room to sit on...
Growing up, i marveled at star-trek's science, and ignored the perfect society. Now, i try to ignore their science, and marvel at the society.

Imagine, being able to create matter out of thin air, and not coming up with using drones for boarding hostile ships. Or using drones to defend your own ship. Heck, using drones to block energy attacks, counterattack or for surveillance. Unless, of course, they are nano-machines in your blood, which is a billion times more complex..
