    i like this article : Elephants keep ants in harmony with tree hosts
    because it highlights again that what we call symbiosis is often an uneasy stalemate where one of the partners can renege on the deal if it suits them (similar findings have been made on lichen and corals)

    How odd. Makes you wonder if such similarities can actually occur in other parts of the natural world? So if the ants of one type can attack it and the other protect it, is this then a ripple effect in the food chain?
