Thread: Dna polimerase types of DNA replication

Hello!

I've searching about this in the internet and in molecular biology books but i couldn't find a clear answer:

Which are the types of DNA polimerase involved DNA replication at the leading strand and at the lagging strand, in eukaryotes and in procariots?

So far I've discovered the the DNA polimerases used in lagging strand are differefent from the ones used in the leading strand.

It is also the major enzyme for gap filling during DNA repair. The DNA polymerase II is encoded by the PolB gene, which is involved in the SOS response to DNA damage. DNA replication is mainly carried out by the DNA polymerase III. "
