Thread: Beta Cells

I'm doing research for my science project and i can't find this one piece of information. How long does a beta cell live for in a healthy human body. For example: A red blood cell lives for 100 days. Everytime i search, it give me information about diabetes and autoimmune disorder. I would greatly appreciate it if somebody could tell me. :D[/list]

Have you dug around on Jake Kushner's home page? Beta cell life cycle seems to be an area of research for him.
