i need help answering this question...
if someone were to give you a solution of CuSO4, and to tell you that it had an absorbance of 0.1(or percent transmittance of 90%), could you calculate the concentration of the solution? if you could, how would you do it?

    also ...

would it be easier to use the percent transmittance reading or the absorbance in doing this calculation? why?

any help would be GREATLY appreciated . thanks .

Unfortunately I can't help, but I think you should move this to the Chemistry forum.

    Look up Beer's Law.

    This page seems interesting: http://teaching.shu.ac.uk/hwb/chemis...pec/beers1.htm
Whence comes this logic: no evidence = false?
