The cutest animal in the zoo or on film/video is the most murderous. My opinion of the Meerkat has changed a little after learning you could fill a post office wall with their Most Wanted posters before humans get someone on there. We’re farther down the list, apparently on the decline since the homicidal Medieval Era. Territory, food and sex the best motives. Primates hold down many spots at the top of the murder chain but surprised to learn there’s even a gazelle that is more proficient than we are when it comes to killing their own species.

Meerkats are used to sell insurance in the UK.

I wonder how many people know they are vicious killers.

    That's funny.

If word of meerkat reputation gets out there might be a job opening at an advertising agency. Are they peddling Life insurance?

Apparently the Dama Gazelle of the Sahara is above us in the murder rankings. :biggest gazelle out there. Poaching, predation and murdering one another doesn't bode well I imagine. Wonder if there are extinction theories out there that include species killing their own kind for whatever reason. Anyway they are trying to save the gazelle from that fate:

A massive global thermonuclear war could wipe out humans.*

Any extinction theory would go with it.
