Hi, I'm writing a paper on bacteriophages (more specifically the non-medicinal applications of phages), and I'm currently trying to find applications in agriculture or plants. But appearently, they're not really widely used in crops. I've read articles from about 30 years ago saying that the subject of using bacteriophages as biocontrol agents for phytopathogens is not worth resaearching etc., but recent articles show that sometimes using bacteriophages may have success.
I was just wondering if there might be an expert on the subject present who could tell me what the current view is on the subject ? Have there been successes, and are there nowadays applications of bacteriophage biocontrol?

    Thanks in advance
